We are asking one and all to consider making a private donation and/or be a special corporate sponsor for our 3rd annual Gold Gala fundraiser and silent auction. This year’s Gala will take place on the evening of Saturday, February 20th, at the Astor Hotel’s Grand Ballroom.
Through the success of our 2015 Gala, PAX was able to support more than 50 families in our community by providing financial assistance, insurance consultative services, home cooked meals, cleaning services, and other support as needed by the families. Our assistance helps to relieve stress for the parents, allowing them to focus on the child and the family unit as a whole.
In 2016, our goal is to double the number of families we support! To do so, we must rely on the continued partnership of generous businesses and individuals in our community. We hope you’ll consider joining our ever-growing Army of Love by selecting one of the sponsorship levels, through a private and/or corporate donation. Our success will also be dependent on the donation of gifts and items for our silent auction, to be held at the Gala.
Fighting childhood cancer takes an incredible toll on the little warrior receiving treatment, the child’s parents, and the family unit as a whole. We have experienced first-hand the wreckage of childhood cancer. We have also seen first-hand, the relief on parents’ faces as they realize fresh meals will be on the table for their family, a bill would be covered, presents would be purchased for birthdays and holidays, daunting insurance paperwork would be sorted and filed .
The charitable contributions and heart-felt support from businesses and individuals, is what allows us to fulfill our mission to provide this one-of-a-kind, unique, intimate support for our brave warriors – fighting cancer in our community.
