For the second year, PaxFest is happy to host a silent auction along with the great music, wonderful food, libations and children’s activities. And like any good event, we’ve got some freaking awesome things for you to bid on.
Our friends at Verlo have donated a cheese head futon set, complete with mattress, frame, cheesehead cover and two cheesehead pillows. It’s an amazing item and the bidding will be fierce.
For those who prefer tech toys, Verizon Wireless has donated several terrific items, all compatible with either Apple or Android devices. Would you like to own a wireless Jambox by Jawbone? Or perhaps a mophie jucie pack powerstation PRO to keep your devices powered when you aren’t near a charger? Maybe you’d prefer to track your exercise with a FitBit Zip?
For the sports enthusiast, we have tickets to Brewers, Packers, Bucks and University of Wisconsin games, and a signed softball jersey from Green Bay Packer tight end DJ Walker, who wore it in Donald Driver’s annual charity softball game this past June. We’ve also something for the golfers in the crowd.
Breckenridge Landscaping has donated a 3-pack landscape design package so you can keep one for yourself and help out those neighbors on either side of you.
If you’re looking for a great graphic designer, Brando from Brando Design is offering 20 hours of design service. This is an auction item that is truly amazing. Trust us, Brando is amazing. He has done a lot of work for The Paxton Andrews Foundation. Like this website? He designed the graphics. Yep, he’s awesomesauce.
Perhaps you’re a thrill seeker and tickets to Six Flags is more your style. We got you covered.
In addition to those great auction pieces, we have baskets, gift certificates and merchandise from local businesses like Blush Beauty Bar, Great Lakes Distillery, Big Bay Brewing, Maxie’s, AJ Bomber’s and Rishi Tea.
We’ll keep the rest under wraps until August 24, so you’re just going to have to come on out to PaxFest to see all of the amazing donations – and everything IS donated – and battle it out with others to bring home the things you want. You can pay us with cash, credit card or PayPal. The most important part is all of the money raised helps kids with cancer. And that’s the bottom line. See you soon.
