It’s September. Which means one thing here at PAX Headquarters: Childhood Cancer Awareness month! We’ve decided to turn Awareness into Action. We’re calling on all our favorite PaxLovers for a little help!
PAX is scheduled to make another appearance at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin before the end of the month. We intend to roll through the HOT Unit and MACC Clinic pushing the glittery-glitziest, galm-filled, gold-stocked Treat Cart of all time. We’re looking for volunteers to make and donate a gold/yellow/goldesque mashup of “No Sew, Tie Up” fleece blankets to include amongst the overflowing golden goodness.
Despite the warm temperatures – our brave, little Warriors struggle to stay warm during their treatment. Making a “No Sew, Tie Up” fleece blanket is a small way to make a big difference in a very deserving Warrior’s day. We promise – the smile your blanket brings to the face of the Warrior who chooses to make it his/her own, will make your heart skip 12 beats.
No Sew / Tie Up fleece blankets can be any of the following sizes:
2 yards (adult)
1.5 yards (toddler)
1 yard (infant)
