Please join PAX in wishing our “Minnie” Warrior, Leslie, a Happy 3rd Birthday!
Leslie officially turns three years old on August 30th; but she celebrated a little early this year! Leslie’s birthday bash was well attended by her loving family, a host of dear friends, as well as her “Bestie”, Minnie Mouse. PAX is honored to have been invited to attend Leslie’s party too! It was an affair we simply couldn’t have missed. We also couldn’t resist showering our Minnie Warrior with special birthday presents and loads of good, sweet PaxLove.
After a lengthy hospital stay this spring, Leslie was released from Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Upon her discharge, she moved into a new home and welcomed a new baby brother! Leslie travels to CHW every few weeks to endure another week long round of intense chemotherapy. While the road ahead is long, Leslie is handling treatment like a true warrior. Her parents are encouraged by the progress she’s made so far, and remain in awe of her fighting spirit.
We look forward to watching Leslie’s birthday cake get one candle brighter with each year to come.
