September is here! At PAX Headquarters, September means Childhood Cancer Awareness month, Go Gold! and More Than 4%.
For Braeden, September means: BIRTHDAY! For many kids, birthdays involve friends, parties, and lots of new presents. Braeden is perfectly happy with family, friends and a little party; but once again, he took a pass on presents this year. For the second year in a row – without prompting from his parents – this beautiful boy chose to give his birthday presents to Paxton’s Treat Cart. And his party goers delivered quite a stash!
Paxton’s Treat Cart rolls through the HOT Unit of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, bringing smiles to children who are undergoing treatment for cancer. Sometimes, those smiles are few and far between. But when the PAX Treat Cart comes to town…smiles always follow in its wake.
Braeden’s generosity also makes our hearts smile. It is certainly humbling to watch the ripple effect that one heart of gold can pass along to so many others.
