PAX headquarters is thrilled to share the news that our Princess Warrior, Micaela, recently rang the bell at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. The ringing of the bell is a very special event, as it marks the end of a child’s cancer treatment. The honorary “ringing of the bell” also provides a sense of hope to children who continue the journey through their own treatments.
It was a very emotional day for Micaela, her family, and the loving hospital staff who took such good care of Micaela throughout her treatment. PAX was humbly honored to be included in such a special day.
While Micaela’s active treatment has ended, we know it will take time for her to recover and for her family to settle into a new ‘normal’. The PAX Army of Love will continue to provide extra special love and support in the upcoming months, and Micaela will always be our Warrior Princess!
